A engineer just happen to be there (for another vehicle at the shop) when I pulled the pan off.Flip the engine, oil pans off, pop all the rod caps off and push the pistons up in the cylinders, pop the main caps off. Ran perfect with no noise until about 2200rpm and then would stumble and spit and shake. Best ways to check are rotating by balancer bolt while watching for flywheel movement, or checking for up/down/side movement of the front of the crankshaft Broken or shorted wiring. When you are experiencing this problem, check voltage at the starter solenoid and see if it is at B+ voltage or if it drops out. While you're at it, also check cranking voltage for the B+ wire on the starter. Also sounds like weak batteries. Do not drive the truck. Shut it off as soon as possible. Have it towed.
